Swallow's Art Nest Logo

©1993 Judy Swallow   I have wandered down this path many times to sketch, to paint, to write and to just be. Each time I do, I think of the creatures of this valley using this pathway that leads to the water. As I travel it this evening, I feel a special connection. Sitting on a rock on the water’s edge there is a quiet stillness, which lulls me into a contemplative mood. It is only broken by the gentle sounds of the creatures that live here, the flapping of geese wings overhead, the soft crackling of whitetail footsteps, the rhythmic croaking of frogs and the sweet songs of evening birds. It is a spiritual place.
